Tinkering with her grandmothers secret ice-cream recipe has paid off for Teena Mammino and her family. From humble beginnings in her kitchen on the family cane farm, between Childers and Bundaberg in Queensland, Teena and her husband Anthony have created a name for themselves with their award winning macadamia ice-cream.


Located on the main highway between the towns of Bundaberg and Childers, Anthony and Teena have successfully caught the attention of locals and travellers alike with their roadside shop. Cars driving by are lured by the promise of homemade goodies which use the freshest of the most delicious Queensland nut, the Macadamia. "From tree top to table top", the Mammino ice-cream is renowned for its creamy and rich texture and the distinct flavour of Macadamia's which they grow and process off their own farm.

Teena's recipe is naturally a closely guarded secret, but more and more people are being treated to the many flavours that she has developed. There are a number of outlets that now sell Mammino ice-cream to the regions many visitors and locals. Flavours come in Original Macadamia, Chocolate Macadamia, Ginger & Macadamia, Coffee & Macadamia, Rum & Raisin, Mango, Strawberry, Passionfruit, Avocado, Jaffa, Coconut, and Fruit and Nut. Yum!
